Gerald Langiri is an award-winning Kenyan actor and renowned casting director and Filmmaker. He is well known for the films, Uradi (Netflix), House of Lungula, Fundimentals and Bargain Bride, VEVE, Selena Telenovela, Going Bongo, 40 Sticks (Netflix), Nafsi, just to mention but a few.
Gerald is the founder and administrator of actors.co.ke a website that centers on Kenyan actors and the acting industry at large giving news and information about the industry. He is currently the casting director for South Africa’s “the river” adaptation to Kenya show titled Kina, which is running on DSTVs Maisha Magic platforms and on showmax. He is also doing consultancy work for the students of Multichoice Trust Foundation class of 2022.
In 2021, AI Global under “Lux Life Global Excellence awards” named Gerald the most Dedicated Casting Director In kenya while MEA Business Awards, named Gerald Casting director of the year (kenya) (2021).
